The Rush Creek Wilderness School

The Rush Creek Wilderness School has been operating now for 21 years.

The groups are from 4 to 36 people. We have three ways to get to this remote area of the Northwest Pacific, located in the Trinity Alps of Northern California. The three H's:

  • Hike.... a distance of 4.7 miles over terrain.
  • Horse... $70 extra per person per day.
  • Helicopter.... $650.00/hour up to 4 people.
These tiers have been established for the individual that enjoy alternatives although we have had a five day-old baby and an eighty-two year-young lady walk and/or being into the land.

Each year private groups or government training sessions have been taught in the following areas:

Our staff is made up of professionals with facets of experience well established.

Robert Menzies -- the founder is an impeccably credentialed horticulturist, herbalist, author and skilled survival training educator.

Mary M. Menzies -- early childhood educator/teacher.

Dr. Don Solomon -- has an alternative medicinal clinic in Sebastopol, CA.

Dotha Cheney -- Artist, avant guarde advisor and internationalist.

Seymour Golden, CMT -- a holistic health educator.

Walter Cheney -- Senior Advisor/engineer/author.

Dillon & Sarah Menzies -- youth advisors.
